Plus size clothing market is finally moving, and more and more online clothing stores are filling their content with the curvy cathegory (also called PLUS, with comfortable sizes).
But finding what we need between tons of websites is truly a stressing experience. That is why at 40nagers decided to rely on the experience of Monica Burraschini, the curvy fashion specialist at the 40nagers Facebook Community.
Monica: “There is a wide range of offers, and we often go juggling from one side to the other searching for something that satisfies us, with all the doubts we may have approaching the online shopping: “Should I buy? Will the clothes be of good quality? How long is the shipping time? But first thing… will they have my size?”.
To answer all these questions together, creating a good list of websites, we need to go step by step.
Let’s start browsing between some of the websites that in my opinion have a good quality/price ratio, human shipping times, and publishing often catchy promotions.

BOHOO

In Rosegal you’ll find elegant and sexy clothes with ease, to give character to your outfits. Moreover, the offer of the Plus Size collection is also one of the most cheap and varied collection offered on the web (Sizes from XL to 5XL).
Forever 21
It is is an American fast fashion retailer headquartered in Los Angeles, California (Wikipedia cit.). The offer is truly wide, and it is very interesting the idea of offering total look suggestions depending on occasions or seasons (sizes going from 0X to 3X).

The Plus Size clothing collection from this brand has breath-taking styles for whatever size you are looking for.
You’ll find basic pieces, as well maxi dresses and chic jumpsuites. The size table is very specific and useful (sizes from 46 to 60).
ASOS
Asos.com is an international e-commerce site with more than 50k products for women and men (among which clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry and cosmetics) both designed by Asos, and from independent brands (in the Curvy section, sizes from 48 to 62).
KIABI
Kiabi offers online shopping for trendy clothing, shoes and accessories at a cheap price. If you love polished and low-cost dresses, you’ll find good offers in the Curvy section. Recently Kiabi launched a casting to become Kiabi Ambassador (you may find more specifics in the website).
BONPRIX
Bonprix take in account the needs of each one of their customers, offering a vaste choice of modern items for curvy women. The woman fashion XXL seduces for its basic design, the good quality and well designed cuts. With a great quality/price ratio it is very easy start creating your own look.
H&M
Who doesn’t know H&M? All the #TrendsOfTheSeason are here: mix and combine tops, blouses, jeans, office dresses, casual outfits for the weekend, or something special for important events… In other words, here it is super easy to find something particular to not go unnoticed (Sizes from L to 4XL).

At last an e-Shop where we can find the dress we love the most, in our size, and proposed by a curvy like us. An online Shop that looks like a physical one where we enter and can get suggestion by a real face: Valentina. It doesn’t have a wide offer, compared to international brands, but a hand-picked collection and focused on targeted sectors (the Wedding Dress preview just came out). The website is in italian, sizes go from 48 to 60.

Il mercato si sta finalmente muovendo e i brand di abbigliamento on line hanno inserito spesso e volentieri la categoria curvy (o plus, o taglie comode) nella loro offerta.
Muoversi fra le decine di siti che ci si presentano all’orizzonte è spesso stancante quanto stimolante. Abbiamo davanti un ventaglio di offerte e palleggiamo come bambine impazzite alla ricerca di qualcosa che ci soddisfi, con tutti i dubbi dello shopping in rete.
” spendo? Saranno prodotti validi? In quanto tempo riceverò i miei indumenti? Ma soprattutto…. avranno la mia taglia??”

Kiabi offre vendita online di abbigliamento, scarpe e accessori di tendenza a piccoli prezzi. Se ami capi semplici ed economici nella sezione taglie forti trovi una buona offerta. La moda donna XXL conquista per il design semplice, i tagli ben studiati e la buona qualità. Grazie all’ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo potrai cominciare a creare il tuo look. Le taglie arrivano quasi su tutti i capi fino alla 64.

Trova tutti i capi all’ultima moda nel reparto per taglie forti. Mixa e abbina top e camicette, jeans, abiti per l’ufficio, look casual per i weekend, qualcosa di speciale per gli eventi importanti… insomma qui è facile trovare qualcosa di particolare per non passare inosservate. Le taglie vanno dalla L alla 4XL (dalla 48 alla 62, ma non su tutti capi).

Finalmente un negozio dove poter trovare il capo che più ci piace, nella nostra giusta taglia, scelto e proposto da una curvy come noi. Un negozio online che sembra il negozio fisico in cui entriamo e ci lasciamo consigliare da un volto, quello di Valentina. Offerta non ampissima, rispetto a brand internazionali, ma sempre scelta con cura e mirata su settori attuali (è appena uscita l’anteprima Cerimonia). Le taglie vanno dalla 48 alla 60.

Si tratta di un sito in cui il brand Evans è affiancato da marche indipendenti. Una selezione di capi eleganti e raffinati e un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Le taglie arrivano fino alla 60.

Una linea di abbigliamento semplicemente incredibile. Puoi trovare tutto quello che serve, dalla biancheria intima agli accessori a prezzi accessibili. La vasta gamma di marchi soddisfa anche chi ha gusti difficili in fatto di look. Taglie veramente per tutti, dalla 42 alla 64.

Zalando è un enorme contenitore multimarche con prezzi, offerte, prodotti che possono variare davvero tantissimo. Vantaggio assoluto la possibilità di pagare alla consegna che quasi sempre avviene in pochissimi giorni.
