During my years when I lived abroad I loved the concept of a Fashion Shop where to stay, drink, chat and buy some cloth in a super relaxed atmosphere. In Sweden there is a shop like this in almost every corner, where to seat inside or outside, even in winter, drink your tea, and thinking to which one of the lovely skirts that are in the window shop will be soon yours.
And all these years I asked myself why we were waiting so long in Italy to have places like this. You can imagine then my surprise and happiness when I found Ohana Fashion and Drink in a small city in province of Modena (Cavezzo), Emilia Romagna, about 45km from Bologna.
Feeling like part of a family
Family, this is what Ohana means, and this is exactly the feeling you have when being in that place. Cozy, with a shabby chic architecture, and a lovely terrace, this place is adjacent to the Fashion Shop, where you can try the latest outfits and clothes from the Ohana brand. Both the places faces a large terrace with tables where you can seat and order a cappuccino in the morning, read your newspaper and have a look on surrounding countryside, or chat with Nicole, Ohana title holder, and Barbara, her lovely assistant.
This is Ohana Fashion and Drink, a place where you feel home.
A young but fierce brand
Ohana has born as cloth brand few years ago (we already talked about this brand in this article in 40nagers), and during the last year started to produce more and more clothes they sell at their shop, or on their website.
A collection made of sweatershirts, shirts with logo, ecofurs and salopette, for sporty outfits to dress during the day, like this blue denim salopette, that I matched with a white shirt with gold horizontal lines, and a eco faux fur white (recalling these winter days), lined with a gold tissue ❤
And with an outfit like this it takes only few seconds to merge with the interior design of the Ohana Drink Bar, don’t you think so? Alright, a fresh squeezed orange juice for me, thanks!
A metallic outfit for a modern princess
Ohana is not only sporty and daily outfits, but also skirts and jackets for evening occasions, like aperitifs or parties with friends.
Among all the proposals, I picked up this tulle skirt that evokes immediately fairy tales stories, and makes you feel like a princess. As jacket a modern, metallic short quilted jacket, that gives light on the face and a dark blu shirt with small ruffles on the sleeves borders.
Do I look like the “Sleeping Beauty”, isn’t it?
The tulle skirt slightly covers the knees, and can be matched with ankle boots with stones or glitter, combat boots with studs, or silver sandals with socks. Add a pair of statement rings, and you will rock!

OHANA FASHION & DRINK, UN POSTO DOVE SENTIRSI A CASA
Durante gli anni trascorsi all’estero ho amato il concetto di un Negozio di moda come luogo di incontro, più che una boutique mera e propria, un luogo dove ritrovarsi, bere in compagnia, chiacchierare mentre si provano abiti, o si scelgono gli ultimi trends in un’atmosfera super rilassata. Nei due anni e poco più trascorsi in Svezia c’erano negozi del genere quasi ad ogni angolo, con un piccolo bar, e posti dove sedere fuori, anche in inverno (dotati di morbide coperte e della classica stufa a fungo), dove sorseggiare il proprio tè alla cannella e decidere quale delle gonne viste nella vetrina farà presto parte del tuo guardaroba.
E durante tutti questi anni mi sono spesso chiesta perché in Italia questi posti facciano fatica a sbarcare. Potete immaginare quindi la mia sorpresa e felicità quando ho ritrovato un posto come questo in una piccola cittadina in provincia di Modena (Cavezzo), in Emilia Romagna, circa 45km da Bologna.
Sentirsi come parte di una famiglia
Famiglia, ecco cosa significa Ohana. E questo è esattamente l’impressione che si ha quando si è in questo posto. Un piccolo bar dall’interior design shabby chic e un’adorabile terrazza arredata con gusto, adiacenti alla boutique dove potrai provare gli ultimi abiti del brand Ohana. Entrambi i posti affacciano su di una grande terrazza con tavoli dove potrai sedere a sorseggiare un cappuccino, leggere il tuo giornale, osservare la campagna che ti circonda, o chiacchierare con Nicole, la titolare del marchio Ohana, e Barbara, la sua vulcanica assistente.
Questo in poche parole è l’Ohana Fashion & Drink, un posto dove sentirsi semplicemente come a casa propria.
Un marchio giovane, ma grintoso
Ohana è nata come marchio pochissimi anni fa (ne abbiamo già parlato qui ), e negli ultimi anni ha iniziato a produrre sempre più capi con questo marchio, che sono in vendita sia nella boutique dedicata, sia sul loro sito web.
La piccola (per ora) collezione è composta da felpe e shirts con il logo, eco pellicce e salopette, per abbinamenti sportivi e abbigliamento per il tempo libero, come questa salopette blu denim, che ho abbinato con una maglietta bianca a righe sottili orizzontali dorate, ed una eco pelliccia bianca (che ispira subito inverno candido), foderata con un tessuto dorato.
E con un abbinamento del genere ci vogliono solo pochissimi istanti per fondersi con il design di interni dell’Ohana Drink Bar, non pensate? Ecco, una spremuta d’arance per me, allora, grazie! 😀
Un abbigliamento con riverberi metallici per una principessa moderna
Ohana non è solo abbigliamento sportivo e da giorno, ma anche da occasioni serali, come un aperitivo o una serata fuori con amici.
Tra le varie proposte, io ho optato per questa gonna di tulle azzurra, che ricorda immediatamente le ambientazioni da favola e ti fa immediatamente sentire come una principessa. Come giacca, ho scelto un piumino corto, argento, che illumini il viso, e una maglietta a maniche lunghe blu scuro con piccole rouches ai bordi delle maniche
Sembro o no una moderna “Bella Addormentata nel Bosco”? 😀
La gonna in tulle è lunga appena oltre le ginocchia, e pertanto adatta sia a teenagers che alle meno giovani, e può essere abbinata a stivaletti con glitter o pietre, anfibi con borchie, oppure sandali in argento con calzini decorati. Aggiungi un paio di orecchini vistosi in blu scuro, e farai furore!
Moda, drinks, amicizia ed un ambiente ospitale, questo è ciò che ti aspetta all’Ohana Fashion e Drink ❤
