Let’s breath the skin!
The new make up leaves on the back the winter eye shadow colors, proposing an extremely natural face, with a shiny and illuminating finish and only a light touch of blush. Conversely, on the lips will be a triumph of color: lively and energetic orange, perfect for your nail make up too!
What about the eyes? They will be nude, underlined only by a graphic line, in black or blue, and a burgundy mascara on your eyelashes:
Red, red, red! It is all red again!
If there is a timeless color, it will be the red. Far from being forgotten, red is again the must for this season, in the shadows from strawberry red to the cherry one:
Pretty in pink
Who doesn’t love pink! Bold and strong pink on the lips as a “solo” color in your make up is a must for this season. And if you are not so brave or not ready for strong colors, try first a peach color on your lips, To the delight of all 40nagers, matte lipstick will prevail, so, be ready to stick with opaque versions:
Summer gothic
Are you still attached to the dark colors from the winter? Don’t worry, blueberry, red wine and chocolate dark nuances are fully approved by the make up guru Pat McGrath, but only if you add a shiny touch of gloss (eventhough the fully glittered ones should be avoided by 40nagers. A little bit of glitter for your nights out is fine, though!) on fully hydrated lips.

La primavera è alle porte e con sé porta una nuova tendenza make up: se da un lato il viso sarà estremamente naturale e appena scaldato da un velo di blush, dal finish preferibilmente lucido e illuminante (per cui sono perfetti i fard in crema), sulle labbra trionferà il colore: frizzante ed energico dominerà l’arancione, da applicare su unghie e bocca.
E gli occhi? Saranno in secondo piano, delineati unicamente da una linea grafica di eye-liner nero o blu. mentre le ciglia si coloreranno di bordeaux o color vinaccia:
Rosso, rosso e ancora rosso!
L’intramontabile rosso si riconferma un must anche per questa stagione, nelle sfumature dal fragola al ciliegia.
Belle in rosa
Chi non ama il rosa? Forte, quasi fluo, come unico accenno di colore nel vostro make up sará un “must” per la stagione, e se non vi sentite cosí coraggiose, optate per un rosa pesca, piú facilmente abbinabile senza saltare cosí tanto all’occhio.
E ricordate che se 40nagers, le tonalitá devono essere rigorosamente matte.
Gotico estivo
Per chi amasse le tonalità scure, la beauty guru Pat McGrath approva nuance come il lampone, il vino e il cioccolato a patto però di renderle primaverili con un tocco di gloss scintillante, anche se i glitter dopo i 40 andrebbero utilizzati con parsimonia e solo in occasioni speciali su labbra perfettamente idratate e morbide.
