We see snow flurries almost everywhere in Europe these days, and this gives as all the reason we need to pull out our best winter extras. So, lets start with a pair of elbow length gloves. Check. Boots? Check.
Pièce de résistance? A fur coat – real or faux.
Yes, we know. You don’t have to remind us. We know that fur is the industry’s most divisive topic. We’ve witnessed many times that some designers’ shows were full of heated protests, while others (e.g. Armani) stand against animal cruelty and declare not to use fur in any collections.
The animal rights organizations has been endorsing faux fur for decades, and you’ve probably seen anti-fur videos on your news feed several times, but really there are sustainable, ethical ways to do real fur, too. Ok, this will not change for mind if you’re vegan, but if you’re willing to wear fur and leather as long as it has been responsibly made, it’s an option.

Just to remind you, fur has had its fashionable heydays for a long time. And it’s still cool – reclaim it. Also, remember your coat is an investment; this is something you can justify. Once you buy it and take good care of it, it lasts for years and generations too. It’s really a vintage statement and that’s what we love about it.
Make A Statement With That Vintage Fur Coat
When it comes to making a fashion statement it is all about finding your personal style and how to push boundaries. For starters, my go-to for a Friday to the city is a fur coat or jacket with high-waist black pants, black shirt, and a pair of fabulous ankle boot heels. The magic is being subtle and sexy at the same time.
